What Fossils can you find at Golspie

Within the Jurassic rocks on the foreshore, you can find Ammonites, Belemnites and shells. Many of the rocks will need to be split. You will also need to search for these rocks since only a very small percentage are Jurassic from the Lias. Fossils from the Triassic Rocks are very rare but in the past fragments of fish have been found, these may have been washed from further up the cliff or from the river that feeds into the sea.
